The Vow is the most important message I can even attempt to relate to you in this day. I have been wounded with this revelation and I have chosen to dedicate my life to pursuing this reality. I join with King David, and I join with all of heaven and the awakened bride on the earth… I join with the heart of GOD:
“SURELY I WILL NOT ENTER MY HOUSE, NOR LIE ON MY BED; I WILL NOT GIVE SLEEP TO MY EYES OR SLUMBER TO MY EYELIDS, UNTIL I FIND A PLACE FOR THE LORD, A DWELLING PLACE FOR THE MIGHTY ONE OF JACOB. ” (Psalm 13: 3-5)
This is the cry of the “man after God’s own heart.” Why do we think that God would speak so highly of a man… was it because David was perfect… NO! David was consumed with a PASSION, he had a hunger just as God has a hunger. David knew what caused the Lord’s heart to burn jealously. He knew that God would dwell amongst His people. That has been His desire in His heart from the beginning and will be His desire throughout eternity.
I long to be consumed with this reality. I know that it is the WILL OF GOD in our day and forever. God wants to be with us. Not just in some of our churches one or two hours a week… but He wants to dwell with us. We must see this. Church once a week is not enough… Church 7 times a week is not enough. There must be a dwelling place for our God. If we think God intended us to go to church and sit in pews and have someone tell us a story we have seriously missed it.
God wants to interact with us. We must realize that we are in desperate need of God to come and walk among us again. The only access we have is through HOLY SPIRIT. He is our contact until Jesus comes and reigns and until the Father comes for eternity.
There are 4 realities of God’s presence here on earth. His omni-presence, indwelling, manifest, and dwelling presence. We see that God desires a dwelling place. (Isaiah 66:2) We want to see Him come and remain. We know that God inhabits the praises of His people… (manifest) so check this out. If we have unbroken, night and day reality then we offer God a place to dwell. “Your kingdom come Your will be done… on earth as it is in heaven.” We want heaven to invade the earth and so does God. If he comes where He is praised… He dwells where He is continuously praised. We must get this in our hearts… THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD. We must contend for His house to be established.
We must understand that God is here. His Spirit is here. Holy Spirit is God. There is a big misunderstanding in the body of Christ as to who Holy Spirit is and how He is to interact with us. I firmly believe the Bible and that we should hold to what Scripture tells us. According to the first Church Holy Spirit was the wind in their sails… He was their teacher and source of power. He was real and really was working as Jesus said He would. Today we don’t even mention Him for people might think we are going off the deep end… but the truth be told. I want to go off the deep end if that is where God is. I don’t want to be concerned with the opinions of man… I desire to know God. PERIOD! So lets begin to welcome Holy Spirit and stop quenching and grieving Him and maybe will see righteousness and justice in our land. Maybe will might see the miracles and mass salvation. We need to realize apart from God we can’t save people. Jesus said, “when the Holy Spirit comes upon you… then you shall be witnesses.” We can’t witness something we don’t have. We need God! God wants us! Come Holy Spirit and DWELL with us, we don’t want to offend you any longer. We repent and ask for you to come and lead us to the Son and to the Father. We are desperate for you to come!
