the Vision

the Vision:

The VISION is of great importance for a time such as this. “Where there is no VISION, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (KJV) Proverbs 29:18

The word translated VISION here also translates REVELATION. So try this…

Where there is no REVELATION, the people perish. I beleive that there is great need of REVELATION in the church today. The apostle Paul labors on behalf of the church in (Ephesians 1:17) that a Spirit of Wisdom and REVELATION would rest upon the believers. What is it that we need REVELATION of?

We need a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of God. The truth today in the church is that WE DON’T REALLY KNOW WHO GOD IS. I know that that is a strong statement but I have the authority to say it because the alarming news is that… IT’S TRUE. I have the right to say it, because I as well don’t know God. I mean really know God. If we are all honest with ourselves and put down all of lofty opinions, we would all see that we do not know who God really is. If we really knew who God is, then the way we live our lives WOULD BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than how we live them currently.

Beloved it breaks my heart to come to this REVELATION… but I thank God in His grace that He has brought me here. I praise the God we think we serve for His abundance of mercy shown to me in my prideful conclusions that I had figured Him out. The truth is… Not one of us have figured Him out, nor will we ever until the fullness of knowledge or perfection comes we will then know who God truly is when we are face to face with LOVE then we will know GOD. (1 Corinthians 13: 9-13 paraphrased)

We need to come into this revelation and live with what Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5 and 6. We must come into poverty of spirit. (revelation that we need God to know God). We must come into the realization of what Jesus was teaching. He was teaching the culture of the Kingdom of God. He was laying out Christianity 101. (Prayer, Fasting, Giving) We must come into this reality that the Kingdom has come and we are to be Kingdom minded people. We must live as ones set apart on this earth crying out as Jesus taught us in Matt. 6:9 … The Kingdom must come to earth! We must usher in the second coming of Christ Jesus by consecrating ourselves and living the fasted lifestyle (living with purpose) to show the bridegroom (Jesus) that the bride (the church) is preparing herself for the wedding. THERE IS GONNA BE A WEDDING… this is the inheritance of the church and the inheritance of the Son. We must move into a lifestyle of preparing ourselves for our King to come. It is not enough for us to just purchase the dress… we must make the decision to stand with and before Him and say… “I DO.”

This is what the bridegroom is looking for. All across the earth there are houses of prayer rising up to pursue this lifestyle. We are joining in in the Call of God on our lives to be a place of training and refuge for all peoples who are in need of the Love of God. Here at IHOP-AC we are dedicated to living this lifestyle and raising up a generation of people young and old who will get real before the Lord through unbroken “DAY and NIGHT PRAYER and WORSHIP.” We understand that the worship going on around the throne in (Revelation 5) is never ceasing. We also see that the worship before the throne of God is that of the “harps and bowls.” We have taken this image of “Worship and Prayer” from the Scriptures just as King David established in His day. We are contending for a dwelling place for God. We are pursing the “High Vision of 24/7 prayer and worship before God’s throne.” We want what God wants. We want His Kingdom to come to earth. We hear the Father’s heart for His Son’s sleeping bride to WAKE UP! We will be found ready for the return of the King. We will be equipped and equipping others to have “oil in their lamps” (Matthew 25:1-12) We want what the Father wants… for us to like the wise virgins prepared with the oil of “Intimacy” fueled by our relationship with HOLY SPIRIT we will be able to be the ones who cry… “the Spirit and the Bride say COME.” (Revelation 22:17)

This is the Vision and the calling on the lives of us intercessory missionaries here at IHOP-AC and all around the world. THERE IS GONNA BE A WEDDING… WE WILL BE AS READY AS WE CAN BE. We are dedicated to being prepared and equipping others to be prepared as well. This is the mission base for raising up the Bride of Christ at the end of the age.

This topic is one of much focus here at IHOP-AC. Even though this is a primary focus of ours, we also understand that it is not the only area of equipping for the church. We are also committed to raise awareness to the bride that she is also a “royal priesthood.” (1 Peter 2:9) That we as the bride are known before the Father as “Priests.” We are focused on training and raising up the priesthood to minister before the throne day and night as we see is the calling of God in at the end of the age. God has prophesied that He would restore the “tabernacle of david.” (Amos 9:11-15 and Acts 15: 16-18) This is the PRAYER and WORSHIP movement that we are being invited into. This is the calling on the generation of the Lord’s return.

As well I could dive deep into that discussion, but I could leave that one for another time. (haha) Still another Identity remains for those in Christ, the area of Sonship (or daughtership) haha. We must first understand who we are in these three areas of our walk (Sons and daughters, Bride, Priest) This is a focus of what we are teaching to this generation. This is the realm of Identity. We also dedicate ourselves to the focus of Initmacy (bride) and Intercession (priest). This is the calling of God in Christ Jesus… and we are answering it.

If you have any questions concerning these… come and check out what the Lord is doing in our midst and on the earth. Love you all… God bless as you live to bless His heart.
