End Abortion… Send Revival to America

END ABORTION… SEND REVIVAL TO AMERICA!

This is the cry of a generation of unborn babies, this is the cry of a generation of children of God, and this is the very cry of God’s heart.

We have sat back for the last 30+ years and allowed about 40 million innocent children to be murdered. We have been swayed by the devil himself and have bought into a lie that this is normal to murder someone. (1 John 5:17) When will we as God’s children stand up for TRUTH and JUSTICE? I believe that a great judgment is coming upon us for the innocent blood that has soiled this nation. I believe that the wrath that God is going to be poured out will be justified in that day. Still, our God is gracious and in His mercy He has presented us a way to return to Him and not receive the judgment due to us.

In the book of Joel, the prophet spoke of a nation in need of repentance. He spoke of a nation who was about to see God’s judgment poured out. Justice is a foundation of His throne along with Righteousness. (Psalm 89:14) We must see, we must open our eyes to what we have allowed to happen in this nation. Joel speaks about the coming judgment, but he delivers the Word of the Lord… “Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land to the house or the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD. In the account of the prophet of God we see what happens when a nation listens to the Word of the Lord. We see that the prophet has a major role in releasing the ministry of God here on the earth. We must now in this day open up our ears and hear what the LORD is SPEAKING through HIS prophets. (Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from what is evil.)
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22

We see what the prophet speaks: “Yet even now” declares the LORD, “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; and rend your heart not your garments.” “Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger; abounding in lovingkindness and relenting or evil. Who knows whether He will not turn and relent and leave a blessing behind Him.” (Joel 2:12-14)

So what do we see? If we are not spiritually blind, we see evil in our midst. So we must take action with fasting and prayer. We must gather together in solemn assemblies and cry out to God to heal our land. I believe that the Word of God is TRUTH… so lets start living out the Word. Let us not fulfill prophecy that the Apostle and brother of Jesus spoke: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:22)

So lets take a quick look at what we are doing here at IHOP-AC and around the world:

SOLEMN ASSEMBLY: In the Bible assemblies were used to designate the gathering of Israel, summoned for a definite purpose, or a gathering regarded as representative of the whole nation. Most of the time the gatherings were for the purpose of prayer, fasting and cleansing from sin and idol worship. Many times on these days the Israelites ceased from working and offered sacrifices to the Lord.

I BELIEVE that a solemn assembly is an invitation from the Lord to fast, pray and repent for individual sins as well as the sins of the Church and the nation. There is always a promise of great blessing to follow these times of whole-hearted return to our covenant vows of love to the Lord. [Leviticus 23:36, Numbers 29:35, Deuteronomy 16:8, 2 Kings 10:20, 2 Chronicles 7:9, Joel 1:14, 2:15]

So Beloved, let us return to the Lord our God. Let us rend our heart and watch the Lord rend the heavens and come down to dwell amongst His people. I know that I want to encounter the God I profess to worship but if there is no repentance for the sin allowed in our midst, we will never see our God. We will only see our big buildings and our nice suits. Let us not be the fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah, “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.” (Isaiah 29:13)

So who do you want to be? Will you take heed to this Call? Will you return to the Lord? Will you give yourself whole heartedly in this day and age? Will you commit to joining the work of the Lord on the earth? Will you give what ever the Lord ask? Your time, your money, your life? This is the time for the Church to arise and shine. (Isaiah 62) We must be the watchmen and we must be the heart of God on the earth. Make your decision… Stand with God or feel the weight of God come upon you. Stand for Love and Justice or stand for lies and death. You shall reap what you sow.
